Shahe Momdjian is the founder of Young Wisdom and a long-time educator in creative entrepreneurship, persuasive communication and student agency. He’s worked across schools, universities, startups and corporates, now helping young people build confidence, judgment and real-world skills without the hype.

Founder. Husband. Dad. Perpetual ‘ideas person’. Shahe Momdjian is the founder and director of Young Wisdom, a social enterprise dedicated to helping young people develop agency, ethical ambition and real-world skills through entrepreneurship education. He first started Young Wisdom in Year 9 at North Sydney Boys alongside many other extracurriculars and went on to become school captain. After graduating, he studied Commerce at UNSW while completing an undergraduate traineeship at Deloitte. Although this rare opportunity came with many valuable learnings and great friends, Shahe realised early that a traditional corporate pathway didn’t quite align with the sense of creative freedom, entrepreneurialism and agency he had been fortunate enough to start developing at school. This experience shaped his thinking around success, failure and career design. After completing his degree with majors in Marketing and Business Law, Shahe grew Young Wisdom as a marketing consultancy and creative agency before transitioning it into an education-focused organisation. The consultancy work continues today under the Metamorph Marketing brand, supporting startups and startup programs with communications strategy and pitch coaching. From 2017 to 2020, Shahe helped grow the UNSW Founders program through a period of rapid transformation, supporting thousands of students and hundreds of early-stage ventures along the way. He later brought this experience into schools, co-creating one of NSW’s longest-running in-school entrepreneurship programs, which continued uninterrupted through COVID and is now into its fifth cohort. In 2023, Shahe partnered with Macquarie University to launch the MQi x YW Secondary Schools Program. Since then, Macquarie University Incubator–supported programs have reached over 10,000 students from more than 90 schools across NSW. As an experienced speaker, Shahe draws on lived experience across education, startups and client service to encourage student agency, ethical entrepreneurship, and planning for meaningful futures without optimising for prestige or borrowed definitions of success.
