Tash Jamieson
Tash Jamieson is the founder of Lockpick Learning, an EdTech and gaming company that turns kids' obsession with video games into real learning outcomes. She mentors founders across the ANZ startup ecosystem through Startmate, Young Wisdom, and UNSW Founders, and reviews early-stage investments for Startmate. When she's not building, she's running trails, baking sourdough, or rolling dice.
Tash Jamieson has spent her career at the intersection of tabletop games, education, and human wellbeing. She started by building digital RPGs that redirect kids' love of video games into genuine learning outcomes — and is now going IRL, partnering with Treeman Games in the US to bring those experiences to the tabletop. The kind of games that work in classrooms and on kitchen tables, and that kids actually want to play. She spends a lot of time across the startup ecosystem — mentoring, coaching, and shamelessly cheerleading early-stage founders through Startmate, Young Wisdom, and UNSW Founders. The zero-to-one stage is where she feels most at home. And then there's longevity. Years as a fitness instructor led to health and science storytelling for 100k+ readers. It's not the day job, but it's the thing she can't stop thinking about — biomarkers, performance, the weird frontier of human optimisation. She's based in Sydney. She's a Halfling Bard. Come say hi.
